If you need food here are a couple organizations that we recommend:

  • United Food Bank - Mesa, AZ: DRIVE-THRU Service at the Mesa Convention Center
The DRIVE-THRU food distribution will provide the much needed grocery items two days a week: Wednesdays from 2pm to 6pm & Fridays from 7am to 11am
    (***please note the updated information)

This distribution is open to all individuals and families in need of food assistance. Each household can come once a week to pick up a variety of frozen meats, fresh produce, and non-perishable food items. There is no need to arrive early because everyone who comes during either of the above operating days and times will receive the same food assistance. Because this is a drive-thru distribution, a volunteer will place the food in your trunk or vehicle. Walk-up service is available for those without vehicles.
*This new schedule will continue through August.

For more information, contact United Food Bank at 480-926-4897.
  • Kyrene Resource Center in Tempe is distributing boxes of non-perishable food items five days a week from 9:30am to 1:30pm to families in need. It is located off of Elliot and Lakeshore at 1330 E. Dava Drive, near Kyrene de lid Ninos School.
