I-HELP is a church-wide project hosting those who are homeless and working toward improving their lives. Just one night a month we provide a hot meal, housing, showers, and lunches for 25 guests.
The hosts for each monthly visit have included various church groups including ChristCare, Ringing Praise, Outreach, Church Council, and even families just getting together to help those in need. The responsibilities for our hosts include making a meal for around 40 people (as we encourage the hosts to eat with our guests), serving the meal, packing lunches for the following day, and all set-up and clean-up. It is a two-hour commitment at the Tempe site once a month.
