Desert Cross is one congregation that worships at two sites. Both Pastor Andrea and Pastor Thadd preach at both locations. From September through the beginning of May, we offer Sunday education for all ages at both campuses with teachers who have hearts for sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
The Tempe campus has been worshipping for over 30 years. The campus itself has grown and changed during that time. Today, our campus has a large sanctuary, fellowship hall with a kitchen, nursery space, and offices. The community center has more offices, more classrooms, a gym, a stage, and a kitchen. On your way into the sanctuary you will notice our Memorial Garden/Columbarium.
Join us for in-person worship on Saturdays at 5pm, Sundays at 8:30am, and 10:30am with live stream to YouTube.
The Gilbert campus started as a missional project. Desert Cross was approached by the synod and after prayerful thought and a congregational vote, land was purchased and a lease was signed until that campus could be built. Members who worshiped in Tempe commited to worshipping in Gilbert for a year to help establish the worshipping body at this location. Today this campus averages 127 people at worship year round.
Join us for in-person worship on Sundays at 9:30am or join our live stream worship from our Tempe sanctuary at 10:30am on YouTube.
