Education

 Here at Desert Cross Lutheran Church, children, youth, and family are important to us! We want to help our families live out their Baptismal promises. We believe the “passing on of faith” is done in community—there are HUGE benefits to having all generations praying, learning, and growing together. 8:30-9:30 Worship

9:45-10:15 Education

10:30-11:30 Worship

Gilbert:  

9:30-10:30 Worship                    

10:30-10:45 Fellowship

10:45-11:15 Education

The Education schedule will be as follows:

Tempe:  The Kids will gather in the gym at 9:45 for a quick song and then separate Into Pre-K/Kinder and elementary groups to explore the Gospel/theme of the week.   Adult forums are offered at this time, as well as Littlest Lutherans for parents and their children under the age of 3. 

Gilbert:  Children will gather in the classroom for a quick song at 10:45 and then move to classrooms (Pre-K/Kinder and elementary) to explore the Gospel/theme of the week. Adult forums and Littlest Lutherans is offered at this time too!

*DCLC Serves and Celebrates together:  There are several opportunities for the whole congregation to serve and fellowship together! There is no Education on Service  and Fellowship Sundays so that all generations can participate together.

March 16:  Donut Day                                                                                                                                       

We also offer 2 big Service events off campus... The Crop Walk at Gilbert on November 24th and Feed My Starving Children Packing Event is April 26th in Mesa.

 DCLC has a great website to help families explore faith from home or on the go.  There is a children's Faith Formation page with helpful articles on different topics. You can "follow" this website to get updates on new posts.
