A chronic condition can drain your energy - this is called fatigue. Fatigue can keep you from doing things you want to do. It can be misunderstood by people, because they cannot see your fatigue.
Try to determine the cause of your fatigue, it may be due to something other than your illness.
People sometimes say they can't exercise because of fatigue. This can cause a viscious cycle; people are fatigued because of a lack of movement and they don't move because of fatigue. Even simple exercise can help break this cycle
When emotions are causing fatigue:
One way to manage stress is through breathing techniques.
According to Harvard Medical School, breathing techniques have been shown to decrease blood pressure, decrease anxiety, and decrease the fight or flight response - which ultimately decreases your immune system.
1. Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds
2. Hold that breath for 7 seconds
3. Exhale for 8 seconds
Repeat steps 1-3 as many times as you want.
Focus on breathing in God's peace and breathing out your stress. Feel the calm enter your mind, body and spirit.

Reflect on God's creation and God's image living in you. Nourish your physical body with healthy food and movement. Nourish your spirit through quiet time with God, prayer, and scripture.
