Did you know in the first month of life, newborns average 8 to 10 diaper changes a day? OVer the first three months of life babies go through about 700 diapers!

Babies are God's tiny angels. So our March Mission is to help their young parents, many of whom have little or no family support, by supplying them with needed items. The Family Resource Center in Mesa (in partnership with Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest) is hosting their annual Community Baby Shower for those new parents.

In addition to workshops, services, and ongoing coordinated care, each family receives a fully stocked diaper bag. The following items are appreciated:

  • Baby Wash/Shampoo (full size)
  • Baby Lotion (full size)
  • Baby Toy/Rattle
  • Baby Onesies (size 6 month, 9 month, or 12 month and non-gender specific green, yellow, etc.)
  • Diapers (size 1 or 2)
  • Baby Wipes
  • Gift Cards (Walmart or Target)

This is the final weekend of our collection. If you can help, please place your donations in our designated area of the narthex. Thank you for helping to create a future where these tiny angels can thrive!
