Thank You from LSS

Dear Pastor Andrea,

I wanted to write and say, "Thank you!" to you and your congregation for blessing the asylum seekers with gifts, and some with friendship.

Here are a few pictures of some of our friends when they received their bicycles your members so graciously provided for them to get to and from their English classes and any other place they may have to travel to. I teared up the day I gave the young woman Recardine from Haiti her bicycle. She was so happy and excited as she got on the bicycle she started singing in Crayol in a loud voice and with joy she laughed like a child and ran to me and said, "Gracias."

The joy I saw in our asylum seeker friend's eyes and laughter this Christmas was the best gift I could have received! And you were a part of it! Thank you all very, very much for your kind and obedient hearts.

We gave out 6 bikes in total this Christmas! And you and the Desert Cross members made it happen!
