Weekly Update - June 25, 2021

We are blessed by God to be a blessing to our neighbors!  We are all getting back on
our feet, and we are building a strong foundation to continue our ministry in new ways.
Desert Cross has been very generous in supporting our shared mission to Share, Love,
and Serve in 2021.

Thank you for your support, encouragement, and gratitude for all the new ministries and
worship we have already started in the face of adversity and for those who were able to
partner with us and respond to our giving letter and day of giving. Our giving letter which
laid out in detail our post-pandemic financial situation opened hearts and raised
$30,000+. Desert Cross exceeded half our goal of $30,000 with a total of $16,000+
donated toward our inaugural Day of Giving. That is a total response of $46,000+ =
Amazing! Generous! Hopeful!

It was fun to try our new #DCLCGives and your generous response will allow us to
continue our support throughout the summer of our church community, staff, programs,
and mission critical needs. Our mission IS making a difference. Lives are changed.
Hearts are opened. The future is bright.

We are deeply grateful for the way our members, friends, volunteers, and staff have met
the challenges of the moment with steadfast resilience and a generous spirit.
